Energy Management

Energy Management is tasked with overseeing our continuing efforts to conserve energy and reduce utility bills. In 2005 we partnered with Energy Education Incorporated to assist in achieving this goal. Since that time the district has reduced its energy usage by over 30%. Eight of our ten schools and two of our three office complexes have receive the Energy Star lable award from the Environmental Protection Agency for demonstrating continued efficient energy use. The district energy manager can be reached at energy@sumter.k12.fl.us.
